I am a Lecturer in Public Policy (Management) in the School of Social and Political Sciences, University of Melbourne.
I earned my PhD in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore under the supervision of Professor M Ramesh, UNESCO Chair in Social Policy Design in Asia .
I was previously currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Journal of Public Affairs and currently an Associate Editor for Policy Design and Practice.
My research interest broadly includes comparative public policy, social policy and governance with emerging economies as my empirical focus. For my dissertation, I look at how the design of policy goals affect the policy's effectiveness in the development context.
