In this course, I explored my chosen material, green shell waste, into sheets that can be applied as decoration. And the plan is to further develop it into a textile.

BACKGROUND
Green mussel shells are a type of organic waste that is often not utilized optimally. In the fishing and culinary industries, green mussels are widely consumed, but their shells are usually discarded. They can be used as a substitute for concrete, fertilizer, mordant, and even accessories.
IDEA
Processing the waste into fashion embellishment products using a crushing and softening method.
The crushing method involves pounding the shells into very small pieces. Meanwhile, the softening method involves soaking the shells in a solution of vinegar and bleach.
