Welcome!
I am a final-year Ph.D. student in theoretical and computational condensed matter physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, working under the supervision of Prof. Alok Shukla.
I am also a recipient of the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF), awarded by the Government of India.
My research is dedicated to understanding the electronic, optical, photocatalytic, and magnetic properties of two-dimensional (2D) materials. The said properties of 2D materials can be tuned effectively via doping, strain-engineering, or applying external electric field. For this I perform high-performance simulations which employs density functional theory (DFT) combined with analytical modeling.
