A. Access to Contacts (READ_CONTACTS)

Our app requires access to your contact list.

• Purpose: This is strictly used to allow you to select specific "VIP" or "Special" contacts to add to your local whitelist.

• Data Handling: We do not upload your contact list to any server. The contacts you select are stored locally in a secure database (SQLite) on your device.

B. Phone State (READ_PHONE_STATE)

Our app monitors the "Phone State" (incoming calls).

• Purpose: This is required to detect when a phone call is incoming so the app can check if the caller's number matches one of your selected VIP contacts.

• Data Handling: This processing happens in real-time on your device. We do not record calls, listen to conversations, or transmit call logs to any third party.

C. Do Not Disturb Access (ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY)

Our app requests permission to override "Do Not Disturb" settings.

• Purpose: This allows the app to modify the volume specifically when a VIP contact calls, ensuring you hear the ringtone.

2. Payments and Financial Information

Khaas is a paid application.

• Payment Processing: All financial transactions are handled exclusively by Google Play. We do not process, store, or have access to your credit card number, bank account details, or billing address.

• Refunds: All refund requests are subject to the Google Play Store's refund policy.

3. Log Data & Crash Reporting

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we may collect data and information (through third-party products like Google Play Services) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Since Khaas works offline and stores data locally, your data is as secure as your device itself. 5. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.
