KGUR Radio Station
Welcome to KGUR! We are a student-hosted, no playlist radio station in the heart of San Luis Obispo, CA. We are on the wonderful campus of Cuesta College, and we host a variety of different classes and opportunities. The Film, TV and Electronic Media Department is full of talented students, and their shows are recorded and replayed over the semesters. Our radio hosts have a mission. Let the music play!
Here is little preview of what you can expect to find at KGUR. We have a tight knit group of fellows here, dedicated DJs who have one main goal, and that is to give you the best music on the Central Coast.

SONG REQUESTS
Hey, listeners! We are opening up our requests! If you got a killer song and you want to share it with the world, we are a no-playlist radio station! That means we can play whatever we want!
Thank you to everyone who submitted music and song requests in the past month. We have received so many, that we are still sifting through. If you haven't heard back, don't worry! We will get your music on rotation. Keep em' coming!

FEATURED SHOWS!
Our DJs record their shows and upload them to YouTube and streaming platforms, so they can listen back and put themselves in the shoes of the listener.
It helps them become more in tune with radio, and broadens their minds. This opens them up to many opportunities.
The cool news is that you can listen to them too! Here are a few of today's featured shows. Most of our shows you can only catch while they are live on KGUR, Mon - Thurs from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
However there are some that are available all the time, so you never miss out on your music fix. We are always here with open arms, tune in to your favorite DJ, genre or playlist today!
