KFC Colonel's OG Birthday Raffle Mechanics
I. Eligibility
a. Open to all registered KFC website and mobile app users residing in the Philippines for at least one (1) year and of legal age.
b. The following are disqualified from joining:
i. Employees of KFC Philippines and Ogilvy Philippines, hereinafter the “Organizers of the Promotion”, and other official media partners and sponsors and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity are disqualified from joining.
c. By joining and participating in the “KFC Colonel’s Birthday” raffle, those qualified and interested to join the raffle (the “Participant/s”) hereby confirm, agree, and acknowledge that:
i. They have read the full mechanics of the Promotion and agrees to abide by the terms and conditions;
ii. KFC Philippines is permitted to receive their registration data as well as all personal information supplied will be used by KFC Philippines in accordance with its privacy policy and only for purposes of awarding the prizes and publicity, as provided in the next succeeding paragraph;
iii. Organizers of the Promotion have the right to identify the Participants as a participant or a qualified registrant in the promotion and communicate the same at any time, in any territory and through any medium of release (mass media, digital media, etc);
iv. Organizers of the Promotion may, without further compensation to the Participants:
1. Reproduce, distribute, adapt, modify, make available and/or communicate to the public, exhibit, or broadcast any entries submitted to the Promotion by any means or media without restriction of any kind as to quantity, purpose or time, whether for advertising or otherwise, or to any country or territory in the world; and
2. Authorize any of the above activities;
v. Organizers of the Promotion shall not be liable for any unauthorized use, reproduction, and/or adaptations by third parties of any of the entries; and
vi. Participants have secured all necessary consent from persons whose names, images, and other personal information appear in their entry as to the inclusion of such personal information in the entry and the publication of the same according to Clause c(iv) of these mechanics.
d. The promotion period is from 9 September 2022 – 17 October 2022.
II. How to Join
a. There are 2 ways to join the raffle.
i. Option 1: Get a chance to win a KFC OG Cake when you order via KFC website and mobile app.
1. To earn a raffle entry, participants must sign in/up with the following details and order via KFC website or Mobile App (no minimum order)
a. Full Name
b. Email Address
c. Registered Mailing Address
d. Mobile Number
2. Participants can have as many raffle entries as they want just by ordering via KFC website or KFC Mobile App but can only win once for the whole duration of the promotion. One order receipt is equivalent to one raffle entry.
ii. Option 2: Get a chance to win a KFC OG Cake when you upload a KFC birthday greeting on TikTok.
1. To get a raffle entry, participants must upload a video on their TikTok account greeting the KFC Colonel a Happy Birthday.
2. Participants can have as many raffle entries as they want just by posting a long happy birthday video greeting Colonel Sanders with the hashtag #ColonelsOGBirthday in their caption
iii. Participants have a total of thirty-nine (39) days to join the raffle and get an entry:
1. Duration: 9 September 2022 – 17 October 2022
a. Start of Promo: 9 September 2022
b. End of Promo: 17 October 2022, 11:59 PM
c. Raffle Draw: 18 October 2022, 5:00 PM – with the presence of a DTI representative
d. Announcement of Winners: 19 October 2022
e. Delivery of Prizes: 20-24 October 2022
III. How To Win
a. Participants may get as many raffle entries as they can, but may only win once for the whole duration of the promotion.
b. Total of Twelve (12) winners will be raffled for the entire duration of the promotion.
i. Eleven (11) winners will be raffled from those who ordered via the website and app
ii. One (1) winner will be raffled from those who will upload a birthday greeting.
c. Winners will be determined on the dates stated above.
d. The winners will be determined in an online or virtual call at 5:00 PM with the presence of an official DTI representative. Agency will send the meeting link.
e. Participants will be verified first before they can be declared winners. Verification will be done as follows:
i. The twelve (12) winners will be sent a private message via registered email, mailing address, and SMS to confirm that he/she is one of the twelve winners of our prize.
ii. Winning participants are required to present 2 valid IDs to claim the prize. The following are considered valid IDs:
1. Government-issued ID valid within the last six (6) months
2. School ID valid within the last six (6) months
3. Company ID valid within the last six (6) months
iii. Announcement of winners will be done through KFC Philippines’ Facebook on the dates stated above.
f. Names / Registered Email Address of all eligible participants will be uploaded an online list randomizer (random.org).
i. First draw will be for the first 11 winners. The names of those who will appear in the list (first 11) shall be considered the winners.
ii. Second draw will be for the one (1) winner from those who uploaded birthday greetings. The first name who will appear shall be declared as the raffle winner.
IV. Prizes at Stake
a. There will be a total of twelve (12) winners.
b. Twelve (12) winners will each receive a “KFC OG Cake” (a cake made out of KFC products)
c. Non-Metro Manila winners will receive 2,500-peso worth of KFC Products, equivalent to a KFC OG Cake.
d. All prizes are not transferrable and not convertible to cash.
V. Procedure in Notification of Winners
a. Winners shall be notified through their registered mailing address, email address, and mobile number.
b. For Metro Manila participants, the prize shall be delivered to their registered delivery address as provided in his/her KFC account details.
c. For non-Metro Manila winners, the prize will be delivered to the winners’ delivery address as provided in his/her KFC account details.
i. Upon delivery, winners must present are required to present 2 valid IDs to claim the prize. The following are considered valid IDs:
1. Government-issued ID valid within the last six (6) months
2. School ID valid within the last six (6) months
3. Company ID valid within the last six (6) months
Upon delivery, the prize may also be claimed by the winner’s duly authorized representative, who, aside from submitting all the documents enumerated above, must also present a written authorization designating him/her as such duly authorized representative. Failure to present any of the foregoing requirements shall disqualify the winner or his/her representative from claiming the prize. During the delivery, if the winner or authorized representative is not present to receive the prize, the courier will attempt to deliver the prize again. If neither one of them are present to receive the prize during the second delivery, no attempt will be made to deliver the prize for the third time. The decision of the organizers of the promotions on this regard is final.
d. The Organizers of the Promotion will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by winners when claiming their prizes.
e. Prizes not claimed within 5 days after the receipt of notification of winners with prior approval from the Department of Trade and Industry shall be forfeited in favor of KFC Philippines.
