Privacy Policy for KeyTurning

KeyTurning is a planning tool for people who open new stores, offices, warehouses, clinics and pickup points. This document explains exactly which information the app handles and where that information goes. The short version: your launch plans never leave your phone unless you choose to send a specific text or photo to the Lens assistant.
1. Nothing is collected about you
KeyTurning has no accounts, no sign-in and no user profile on any server. We do not gather analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers or usage statistics. There is no tracking SDK in the app and no third-party code observes what you do.
2. Where your launch data lives
Every launch, node, dependency, checklist, inventory row, retrospective, template, badge and setting is written to the app's private container on your device. Photos you attach as evidence are stored as files inside that same container. The app has no backend, so there is no copy of this data anywhere we could access. If you back up your device with iCloud or a computer, the backup is governed by Apple's terms, not ours.
3. What the Lens assistant sends, and when
Lens runs on the OpenAI API (model gpt-4o-mini). A request is made only when you tap Analyze, Review, Build or Send inside a Lens mode. What travels in that request is limited to the content you have chosen for that action: the photo you selected, the description you typed, the question you asked, and — when the "Include launch details" switch is on — the name of the launch, its site type, the node in question and its checklist. With that switch off, those identifiers are replaced by neutral labels. With "Send photos to AI" off, no photo mode can make a request at all. Nothing else from your device is included: no other launches, no contacts, no location, no device identifiers. 4. Reminders
If you enable notifications, the app schedules local reminders on the device itself (a morning digest, blocker alerts, order-by-date reminders, countdowns to the target date and a weekly Site Walk prompt). These are generated on your phone by the system notification service and are never routed through a server.
5. Removing your data
Because the app stores nothing remotely, deletion is under your control. Reset All Data in Settings wipes the local files, and uninstalling the app removes its entire container. There is nothing left for us to delete on your behalf.
6. Children
KeyTurning is a professional planning tool and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly process information from anyone in that age group.
7. Updates to this policy
When the app's data handling changes, this document changes with it and the date at the top is revised. Continued use after a revision means you accept the revised version.
