KeyMint is an offline password generator. We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent or share personal or sensitive user data.
Passwords are generated locally on the user's device using a cryptographically secure random generator. Generated passwords and password settings are not transmitted to the developer or any external server.
KeyMint does not collect or share generated passwords, personal information, device identifiers, location, contacts, files, usage activity, diagnostics, financial information or advertising data. The app contains no advertisements, analytics, tracking, account-management or third-party SDKs.
A generated password is copied to the Android clipboard only when the user taps the copy button. KeyMint labels copied content as sensitive so supported Android versions can hide its clipboard preview. The app schedules copied content for removal after approximately 60 seconds.
Clipboard behavior can vary by Android version, device manufacturer and other installed applications. Other applications may access clipboard contents according to Android's platform rules. Users should avoid copying passwords on untrusted or compromised devices.
KeyMint has no internet permission and requests no sensitive Android permissions.
KeyMint does not save generated passwords or maintain password history. A password remains visible temporarily while the app is open and is cleared from the app's memory when the activity is destroyed. The developer operates no account or server for KeyMint and therefore has no stored user data to retain or delete.
KeyMint minimizes privacy risk by generating passwords locally and avoiding network transmission. Users remain responsible for protecting access to their devices and securely storing passwords in a trusted password manager.
KeyMint does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
The current version does not integrate advertising networks, analytics services, social sign-in, cloud storage or other third-party services that collect user data.
If KeyMint's features or data practices change, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before the relevant version is published. The latest policy will remain available on this page with an updated revision date.
