Welcome to KeyboardaAI. These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and the developer of KeyboardaAI ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the KeyboardaAI iOS application, custom keyboard extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
KeyboardaAI is an AI-powered custom keyboard extension for iOS designed to assist with text rephrasing, translation, and other text-processing tasks. The Service utilizes third-party artificial intelligence, specifically Google's Gemini APIs, to generate responses based on the text you explicitly select and transmit.
AI Disclaimer: Due to the nature of machine learning and artificial intelligence, the Service may occasionally generate outputs that are inaccurate, inappropriate, or incomplete. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any text generated by the Service before sending or publishing it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the AI-generated content.
Your privacy is fundamental to our Service. Our data practices, including our strict policy against logging keystrokes and our explanation for requiring iOS "Allow Full Access" are comprehensively detailed in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the data handling practices described in our Privacy Policy.
KeyboardaAI operates on a freemium model. By choosing to upgrade to a premium subscription, you agree to the following billing terms, which align with Apple’s App Store guidelines:
Free Tier: Users on the free tier are permitted a maximum of five (5) AI requests per day.
Premium Subscriptions: We offer auto-renewing Monthly and Yearly subscription plans that provide unlimited AI requests, subject to our Fair Usage Policy (see Section 4).
Payment Processing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, identifying the cost of the renewal.
Subscription Management: You may manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by navigating to your App Store Account Settings after purchase. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
Trials and Promotional Offers: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a premium subscription. Promotional offers and pricing may vary by region and time.
To ensure high-quality service, infrastructural stability, and fair access for all users, premium "unlimited" subscriptions are governed by a Fair Usage Policy.
"Unlimited" access is intended for standard, manual, human operation of the keyboard. You agree not to use the Service in a manner that disproportionately burdens our servers or API quotas. We reserve the right to temporarily rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access for any account that exhibits:
Automated querying, scraping, or bot-driven requests.
Spamming or continuous, unnatural rapid-fire requests.
Any usage pattern that severely impacts the experience of other users or violates the terms of our AI providers.
When using KeyboardaAI, you agree that you will not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
Use the Service to generate or transmit illegal, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or highly objectionable content.
Attempt to bypass, exploit, or manipulate the free tier limitations or subscription mechanisms.
Use the Service in any way that violates the Terms of Service of our third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., Google).
The Service relies on third-party integrations, including Google's Gemini API for text processing and tools like Firebase/Crashlytics for analytics and crash reporting. Your use of the Service is also subject to the acceptable use policies of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the uptime, availability, or outputs of third-party APIs.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, INCURRED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT OR TORT, ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document or through in-app notifications. Your continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
