I am a James Van Loo Postdoctoral Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan, mentored by Shravan Veerapaneni. I also work closely with Zhiyan Ding. My research lies at the intersection of quantum information science, non-equilibrium dynamics, algorithm design and numerical analysis. Specifically, I work on open quantum systems with non-Markovian effects and their applications to state preparation, variational algorithms and learning methods. I obtained my PhD degree at Penn State in 2025, under the supervision of Xiantao Li. Before that, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Wuhan University in 2020.
