Welcome to Kevin Pendergast Piano Studio. I offer piano and theory lessons for all ages and levels (including adults). I prepare students for the RCM graded exam system including practical and theory exams. I have been teaching piano in Burnaby for 33 years and opened my home studio in 2011. 

New students begin with a 30 minute weekly lesson. At your lesson we will be working on developing technique, ear training, sight reading skills, theory and repertoire. At the end of each lessons I will supply the student with a specific practice schedule for the week. Required daily practice times will vary depending on the age and level of each student. 

Parents are required to attend their children's lessons and I encourage parents to learn with their child. With this method, parents will be able to guide their children's practice at home. 

All students are required to have a piano or electric weighted piano keyboard before lessons start. I will be able to provide further details on all of these topics at our introductory lesson.
