What Is Keto Diet?

The ketogenic or Keto diet is a very low carb, high fat diet that shares many similarities with the Atkins and low carb diets. It involves drastically reducing carbohydrate intake and replacing it with fat. This reduction in carbs puts your body into a metabolic state called ketosis.

Ingrediants:

  • Sugar free powdered sugar- enough for dusting your pan with.

  • 2 packets of Unsweetened Unflavored Gelatin. Be sure to use unsweetened gelatin.

  • Half a cup of cold water.

  • Sugar alternative- Equivalent to 2 cups of sugar. Please use a granular sugar alternative that measures 1:1 with sugar for best results.

  • Half a cup additional water.

  • Vanilla Extract 3 teaspoons.

  • Half a teaspoon of salt (Optional).

Insturctions:

  1. Prepare a non-metal dish with the sugar free powderd sugar and set it aside.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine gelatin packets with half a cup of cold water. Set this aside

  3. Meanwhile, in a Saucepan on a medium heat, combine the sugar alternative, salt(optional) and the remaining water. stir it until its about to bubble (~9 min). Remove it from heat and add the vanilla extract.

  4. Now, start and mix the first bowl that you had set aside and slowly pour it in the mixing bowl and continue mixing until its size double(~12 min).

  5. Once its doubled in size, pour it into the pan you prepared, let it to cool uncovered before cutting it.
