If you want a sturdy, high-load-bearing aluminum carrier for your actual bicycle that fits 24 to 27.5-inch frames and handles heavy gear like groceries or sleeping bags, choose KEMIMOTO Bike Cargo Rack; if you need a precise, scale-realistic metal upgrade with integrated LED lighting specifically for your 1/10 scale Axial SCX10 RC crawler, choose Vvikizy RC Roof Rack.
• Vvikizy RC Roof Rack: Its biggest strength is the seamless integration of four functional LED lights controlled via remote and the durable metal construction built specifically for the Axial SCX10 chassis; its trade-off is that it is an exclusive accessory with zero utility outside of that specific 1/10 scale RC model.
• The KEMIMOTO pick is for commuters, tourers, and mountain bikers who need to transport physical items safely behind them.
• The Vvikizy pick is exclusively for hobbyists who want to enhance the visual authenticity and night-running capability of their RC crawler.
The KEMIMOTO Bike Cargo Rack is engineered for the rider who treats their bicycle as a genuine vehicle for hauling goods. Whether you are commuting to work with a change of clothes, heading out for a weekend gravel adventure, or loading up for a multi-day tour, this rack provides the structural integrity needed to carry weight without compromising safety. This capacity transforms a standard ride into a practical transport solution, allowing you to swap out panniers for bulky items like sleeping bags, camping gear, or a week's worth of groceries without worrying about the rack bending or failing under pressure.
What sets this unit apart from cheaper alternatives is its three-bracket design featuring long aluminum supporting bars. These bars do more than just hold weight; they create a protective cage that keeps your cargo separated from the rear wheel spokes. This is a critical feature for anyone who has ever had a loose strap snag on a spinning tire while riding down a hill. The inclusion of a red reflective light adds a layer of passive safety for night rides, ensuring that drivers can see the extra profile of your loaded bike even in low-light conditions. It is a thoughtful addition that prioritizes visibility without requiring batteries or charging cables.
This rack is ideal for riders with bikes ranging from 24 inches to 27.5 inches in wheel size. The adjustable length feature allows the carrier to span from 16.5 to 18.9 inches, accommodating different bag sizes and frame geometries. However, it is not a "plug-and-play" solution for every bicycle. You must have mounting eyelets near the rear wheel and on the seat stays to attach the tripod-style brackets securely. If your bike lacks these specific attachment points, or if the eyelet diameters vary wildly, installation may require some patience and force to align the screws properly. It is a tool for the serious cyclist who values durability and load capacity over minimalist aesthetics, provided their bike meets the mechanical requirements for mounting.

The Vvikizy RC Roof Rack is a specialized component designed solely for the enthusiast who wants their 1/10 scale Axial SCX10 crawler to look and function exactly like a real off-road vehicle. This is not a generic accessory; it is a precision-engineered fitment that addresses the specific dimensions of the SCX10 chassis. With measurements of approximately 156x110x40mm, it sits flush on the roof, enhancing the scale realism of the model. For hobbyists who spend hours detailing their crawlers or competing in trail events, this piece elevates the build from a simple toy to a convincing replica of a rugged overlanding vehicle.
The standout feature of this roof rack is the integration of four LED lights directly into the metal structure. Unlike simple clip-on lights that often fall off during bumpy runs, these LEDs are hardwired to plug directly into the CH3 channel of your receiver. This means you can control the lights—switching between two white and two red configurations or all-white setups—using your existing remote controller. This functionality adds a dynamic element to evening crawling sessions, illuminating the trail ahead of the miniature car and making it visible to other operators. The metal construction ensures that the rack is erosion-proof and abrasion-proof, capable of withstanding the harsh conditions of rocky trails and mud pits where plastic parts would easily shatter.
This product is strictly for owners of the Axial SCX10. It offers no utility for any other RC brand or scale, nor does it serve any purpose outside the hobbyist world. Installation is straightforward, requiring no complex tools, which makes it accessible for beginners and experienced builders alike. If your goal is to boost the "cool factor" and authenticity of your RC car for display or active use on the trail, this is the definitive upgrade. It is a niche product that solves a very specific problem: how to make a small-scale model look like a fully equipped expedition vehicle with working lights.
• Best for Scale Authenticity: Choose Vvikizy RC Roof Rack for transforming a 1/10 scale RC car into a realistic, detailed overland vehicle.
• Best for Night Visibility (Real): Choose KEMIMOTO Bike Cargo Rack for its integrated red reflector to alert real traffic on the road.
• Best for Night Visibility (RC): Choose Vvikizy RC Roof Rack for its controllable, wired LED lights that illuminate the trail for your crawler.
• Best for Versatility: Choose KEMIMOTO Bike Cargo Rack as it fits a wide range of wheel sizes from 24 to 27.5 inches and various bike types including mountain and touring bikes.
• Best for Specific Compatibility: Choose Vvikizy RC Roof Rack if you own an Axial SCX10 and want a perfect, seamless fit that enhances the vehicle's rugged aesthetic.
• Best for Durability in Elements: Both use robust materials, but KEMIMOTO uses aluminum for weather resistance on a human-sized bike, while Vvikizy uses metal electronics housing for the RC environment.
• Best for Back Seat Passengers: Neither product serves back seat passengers directly, as both are external carriers mounted to the front vehicle (bike) or the top of the vehicle (RC car), meaning they clear the passenger area entirely.
I recommend the KEMIMOTO Bike Cargo Rack for the vast majority of buyers because it solves a tangible, daily problem with proven engineering. While the Vvikizy RC Roof Rack is a fantastic piece of hardware for the RC community, it serves a single, narrow purpose. The KEMIMOTO rack, however, offers a substantial upgrade to your primary mode of transportation, allowing you to carry heavy loads safely and see better at night.
