Going through a lot of rough patches in life made me mature as a person. From facing bullies, to anxiety, depression, and facing real life problems, I learned that we live in a society where we thought we need to be loved by others in order to love ourself and we thought that "depression" is a simple thing that you can heal in a snap of a finger. Trying to get rid of my perfectionist behavior, my artwork will show you imperfections, just like my imperfect life. My artwork represents my life when I was in a dark place, it focuses on what I'm feeling when my anxiety and depression are out of control and it also focuses on self love.

ID refers to Inner Demon or it can be percieve as identity. This animation represent the Inner Demon that live inside human minds where it sometimes plays a big role to our action or to our thoughts. This animation portray the Demon that has been controlling my thoughts and action whenever I'm mentally unstable.

As a teenager, we couldn't be as free as an adult, we live under our parents roof. This artwork portray the life of a teenager who wants to free, "experience the world" and act as an adult. As a teen, we don't know whats good or bad and whats right or wrong. Hence, teens got influenced easily by the cruel world. Once we realized that we stepped into the cruel world, we would reach out for our parents and hide under their roof. Therefore, in this artwork I use black paint to represent the dark and cruel world. On the other hand, I use bright yellow paint to represent "home".

Through this digital art, I wanted to portray how I start my day when I was going through a rough patch. Going through a lot in life thought me how to fake my facial expression. I always tell myself not to show what I really feel, I don't want to be a burden to my family and friends or make them worry. I always remind myself to look strong, tell them that "I'm alright" and remind myself that life is like a game, before you start, you have to customize your character.

This artwork is about looking for someone that is actually useless to look for. As a girl especially in their teen age, we're looking for someone who can give us comfort and love. We would be vulnarable and became a dependent person if "this" someone couldn't fulfill our needs. Through this artwork, I wanted to show that us, girls, can be independent just like Ibu Kartini. Rather than looking for someone, we should look foward to love ourselves and accept ourselves unconditionally.

This artwork is about faith, faith makes someone poweful and it focuses on women. Therefore, the main star of this artwork is Virgin Mary. Virgin Mary plays a big role in the Bible, especially for Catholics, she is known as the mother of Jesus. From carrying a child at a young age to seeing her one and only son got tortured and crucified, she managed to stay strong. I wanted to show that everyone is a "wanita kuat", if you're stuck in a dark place and don't know what to do, faith will light up your path and show you the way.
