I am a Cognitive & Mental Health Researcher. My research interests lie in understanding the cognitive mechanisms driving restrictive repetitive behaviours and how these relate to psychopathology. I am also interested in developing scalable research methods to engage overlooked and underrepresented groups in research. I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Cognition & Mental Health Lab at the University of York, working on a Springboard Grant awarded to Dr. Alex Pike. This projects aims to use computational techniques to explore the relationships between self-efficiacy and control-seeking in eating disorders. I recently completed my doctoral research at the Gillan Lab, supervised by Prof. Claire Gillan. My thesis aimed to gain a mechanistic understanding of the cognitive processes underlying repetitive behaviours in psychiatry using online scalable methods.
