Brevard, NC

Story: We visited Brevard, NC in March 2021. There are two close-by national forests: Pisgah and Dupont national forest. One of the days, we hiked a portion of the Art Loeb trail, then we hiked up the Looking Glass Rock trail. The view at the top is amazing. We then hiked to Moore Cove Falls, which is a nice little waterfall that you can walk behind. Then we hiked the Coontree Loop, which is doesn't have many views but is a nice nature-y trail with very few other hikers. The next day, we hiked in Dupont and visited 5 waterfalls: Hooker Falls, High Falls, Triple Falls, Grassy Creek Falls, and Bridal Veils Falls. This was a very fun hike with lots of off-road trails that one can take if you are feeling adventurous. The downtown area is also really nice, and they have white squirrels!
