I am a troubadour working at Hunan University. I was a postdoc at UC Riverside, working with Matthew Durham; I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Chicago under the supervision of  Prof. Daniel Groves and Prof. Anatoly Libgober. I used to be a happy college student at the University of Utah.

I am interested in topology, working at the boundary between geometric group theory and the topology of varieties, which is about soothing and warming the cold, abstract math with art, narrating a legend about love.

I am from Hangzhou (杭州), China.

I enjoy the early music played by Jordi Savall. I also appreciate "piano-lized" modern music, like this.  I play piano too.

Geometric group theory conferences.

Low-dimensional topology conferences.
