My work focuses on the broad area of parallel and distributed computing. I also have a general interest in theoretical computer science.
Recently, I am working on the scheduling of jobs in parallel systems and the design of distributed algorithms for machine learning.
Currently, I am an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Washington and Lee University.
My doctoral advisor was Angelina Lee. I also worked with Kunal Agrawal at Washington University in St. Louis, where I completed my doctorate in May 2019.
In 2018 I worked at Sandia National Labs on Quantum Computing and from 2018 to 2019, I visited Carnegie Mellon University to work with Benjamin Moseley on distributed algorithms.Â
In my free time, I enjoy music, movies, soccer, and yea, playing video games.
