Hi, I was SO pleased to see GrapheneOS now includes a call recorder. I can finally get rid of horrible spammy call recorder apps! It took me months, testing over 12 of them, to find one that worked (CubeACR) and it recorded all calls automatically except friends and family. It was great, functionally speaking, but I never liked having it on my phone, but it's essential I record calls.
Graphene's recorder is superior in sound quality, and works via speaker or bluetooth which NO other app I have tried does! It's fantastic. There is one way to make it a smidgen better, that's to record calls automatically. Is there any plan to make this possible at any point?
yourmother It is a button in the in-call UI when making phone calls with the default phone app. For most users it is one of the 6 buttons shown. In case it is not for you, swipe up from the middle of the screen, and then the call record button will be shown.

treequell for some reason mine has the RTT button listed in the 6 icons, so I always have to scroll down to see the call recorder option. Even though RTT is completely disabled, I have no way to make the damn button for it go away.
Call recording still doesn't work for me yet although when I make a call three way the option will show up. Or if I use Cheogram number then the option is displayed. Hopefully with an automatic call record option it will work in the future for all me calls
Hmm, please keep in mind that in Germany and probably in most european countries it is illegal to record a call. Exceptions are companies which tell you in advance about this issue, usually offer an opt-in (but opt-out is also legal if it is possible to opt-out prior to the recording).
Ok, thanks. But I would be very careful with such acts and use it only for calls where both parties live and stay in countries where it is explicitely allowed. In Germany such an act is not just illegal, but a major crime.

Please let me know if that change was made to both options in FreePBX and that it has been applied. If it has already, try an on demand recording of an incoming call and include CLI output in your response.

Thanks for the suggestion Rob - Unfortunately it made no difference.
Dictation was already disabled, so enabled, tested, disabled, tested, enabled and tested. All failed to record when pressing *1 during a call.
I was very tired when making a call recording application for Android.I know the official Android SDK has not allowed using VOICE_CALL. So my recording is based entirely on the MIC source.I tried the Android NDK but I also fell into a deadlock.Someone, please give me away. If you have the source code, it's great. Thank you very much!
Android has officially blocked the SDK method since Marshmallow. After that a work around was introduced with the NDK to solve the problem. This seemed to work in android 6, 7 and 8. The NDK based approach is also blocked in Pie. So technically it is impossible to record calls.Source
The solution is suitable for customers using the Asterisk connector for Creatio to evaluate call quality online, comply with corporate policy for call auditing, and record and review complaints. With the help of the Asterisk call recorder for Creatio, the client will have access to all call records.
unfortunately Samsung has blocked call recorders from working on one of the updates at the beginning of 2020, and all modern samsung devices such as Galaxy A10, A20... S10, S10+ Note 10 note 10+ and so on that have been updated stopped working. Galaxy S20 not yet, but it will, they are waiting people to buy it, and after before launching galaxy S30 they will also block. Why? I have no idea but I and everyone that owns a Samsung feels this measure as a lack of respect and consideration for their customers. My advice? Try considering another brands. Don't forget to talk bad about the brand as this is the only way they will start bothering about their customer's opinion.
I too am disgusted by how tech in the US has gone so down hill. Was forced by Verizon to update from my Galaxy S5 and the call recorder worked great. It was a lifesaver for detailed business calls or just a shopping list being dictated by my wife. One need only look to the NSA or DHS to understand why. Politicians and bureaucrats are tired of being caught saying things they should not. What an irony that now I have to order an unlocked phone from China (probably Huawei) to get what I want.
Starting the recording before you start the call may add a few seconds of silence to the file but will ensure you don't miss any of the conversation. On your iPhone, make sure to initiate the phone call in Speakerphone mode.
Pro tip: The red lines on the Voice Memo app indicate how well the app is picking up sound. The larger the red bars are, the higher the volume that's detected. If the lines stay flat, then you may need to turn up the phone call volume or move the devices closer together.
One-party states only require one person on the call -- which would count as you -- to consent to be recorded. A two-party state requires both the person recording and the person being recorded to consent.
The Google Voice app for iOS lets you make free and recorded calls using Wifi via Google Voice. You can select the device you want to make a call from via the app. For incoming calls, you can go to 1_________________________________ and then toggle the incoming calls record option. Once everyone is on the call, press the number four (4) on the keypad to start and end the recording. The call will end up in the record menu option after it ends.

This is also another great and easy option for recording phone calls and for narrating screen recordings.
If you're wanting to record important business phone calls, conference calls, or interviews, this $11 app may be worth the investment. For this app to record, you make a "conference call" where the TapeACall app is one of the parties. Then, go into the app and hit the record button to simultaneously record and for the app to "dial in." You do have to merge all "three" calls together, so note that this process is a bit more tedious and a lot less subtle.
There are several that perform this function in one manner or another. However, Apple is restrictive about letting third-party apps use the microphone during a phone call. For that reason, most apps that help you record a call on your phone must use clever mechanisms to get around this barrier. Beyond the method outlined above using the Voice Memos app, people also use Google Voice, TapeACall, Easy Voice Recorder, and Rev Voice Recorder.
Unfortunately, no -- at least not yet. Apple itself doesn't have an app, but there are third-party apps available on the App Store. Also, Voice Memos is most likely automatically installed on your iOS device.
We have a Nortel BCM50b pbx with two ISDN BRI (ISDN2) trunks and 5 voip phones. We would like to record all calls made on the system. One option seems to be to use a sniffing type device, like an Eyesdn S0 usb card tapping directly on the trunks, and record all calls there onto a Windows pc. 5376163bf9
