Welcome to **AI KDP Coloring Book Maker Pro** ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your data is handled.
This Privacy Policy explains exactly what data our application ("App") collects, how it collects that data, what we use it for, and who we share it with, especially regarding our third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) service partners.
## 1. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT AND HOW WE COLLECT IT
We deliberately minimize the amount of data we collect. The App only collects the following data:
* **User Input (Text Prompts):** We collect the specific text descriptions ("prompts") you type into the App's text field when you request a new coloring page design. This data is collected actively when you tap the "Generate" button.
* **Anonymous App Installation ID:** We automatically generate a randomized, pseudonymous string of characters when you install the App. This ID is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or device hardware identifier.
* **Subscription Status:** We collect your subscription tier and available credits. This is collected securely via Apple's App Store / RevenueCat system. We do not collect or have access to your credit card information.
**We do NOT collect:** Your name, email address, physical address, location, contacts, camera feed, or existing photo library contents.
## 2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
The data we collect is used strictly for the core functionality of the App:
* **Generating AI Images:** Your text prompts are used exclusively to instruct our AI models to generate the coloring book page you requested.
* **Account & Quota Management:** Your Anonymous App Installation ID is used to track how many image generation credits you have remaining and to prevent abuse or spam on our servers.
* **Saving Images:** The App requires permission to save photos to your device's gallery. This permission is used *only* to write/save the final generated image to your camera roll. The App does not read, scan, or upload your existing personal photos.
## 3. SHARING DATA WITH THIRD-PARTY AI SERVICES
To provide the core image-generation functionality, your text prompts must be processed by third-party AI service providers. We are fully transparent about who receives your data.
**Before any data is sent, the App explicitly displays an in-app consent notice detailing this process, and we require your active confirmation ("I Agree") to proceed.**
When you consent and tap "Generate," your text prompt and anonymous ID are securely transmitted to the following specific third parties:
1. **Supabase:** Acts as our secure, authenticated backend database and proxy. Supabase receives the prompt to verify your account has sufficient credits and to securely route the request.
2. **OpenAI:** We send your initial, short text prompt to OpenAI via API. OpenAI is used strictly to enhance and expand your short description into a highly detailed prompt optimized for image generation.
3. **Replicate / Black Forest Labs (FLUX.1):** The enhanced prompt is then sent to Replicate's API, which hosts the Black Forest Labs image generation models. They receive the text prompt, generate the visual artwork, and return the final image to your device.
## 4. EQUAL PROTECTION BY THIRD PARTIES
We confirm that any third-party AI service we share your data with provides the same or equal protection of your user data as stated in this Privacy Policy.
Specifically, under our enterprise/API agreements with these providers:
* OpenAI and Replicate do **NOT** use your submitted text prompts or the generated images to train, improve, or fine-tune their foundational AI models.
* Your data is processed securely (via HTTPS/TLS encryption) and is only retained temporarily by these services for the immediate purpose of generating your requested output and for short-term abuse monitoring, after which it is deleted.
## 5. DATA RETENTION
* **Text Prompts:** We do not store a permanent history of your text prompts on our servers.
* **Generated Images:** We do not host or store a gallery of your generated images on our cloud servers. Images are delivered to your device, and if you choose to save them, they are stored locally on your device hardware.
## 6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
While the App generates content (such as coloring pages) that may be suitable for children, the App itself is designed for use by adults (parents, teachers, and publishers). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete it.
## 7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Since we do not collect identifiable personal information (like names or emails), your data is largely anonymous. However, you have the right to:
* **Withdraw Consent:** You can stop sharing data with our third-party AI services at any time simply by not using the generation feature or by uninstalling the App.
* **Delete App Data:** Deleting the App from your device will remove your Anonymous Installation ID and any locally saved App data.
## 8. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or Apple's App Store Guidelines. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, if necessary, prompting you for consent again within the App.
