Login SECURITY on a desktop computer

If you login to chrome using the name at the top of the Chrome Browser on a public computer, such as an iMAC in a classroom, other people will be able to access your account even after you have logged out.

If you login using the icon where only you first initial shows... you will be able to log out safely. No one will be able to access your account after you logout.

USING SAFARI or FIREFOX

if you use Safari or Firefox, you will not be given the option to click on the name in the upper right. You will only be able to login where the initial shows.

If you have already logged into chrome using the name at the top of the Chrome Browser: you can remove your account this in 3 steps:

  1. Click on your name in the upper right of the browser and choose "manage people"
  2. Click the 3 dots on the person you want to remove
  3. Click "Remove This Person"
