Reverse Kamon of the Munakata-no-Miya
The Munakata (宗像宮, Munakata-no-Miya) (princely house) is the oldest collateral branch (Miyake) of the Yatanese Imperial Family directly created from Imperial Family, allowed to provide a successor to the Imperial Throne should the main Imperial line fail to produce an heir.
The Munakata-no-miya house was formed in 1977 by Prince Takakura, first son of Emperor Komyo and Empress Suuko. Prince Takakura is married to Princess Tatsuko, and has two daughters Princess Fujiko and Princess Nagako. In February of Honmyo I, Princess Fujiko married Iezane, a commoner and thus lost her Royal status.
The Munakata house will become extinct after the death of it's current head or if Princess Nagako marries and loses her commoner status as a result of the marriage.
The Munakata-no-Miya palace is located in E, Utsunomiya-no-Kuni and is still occupied by the House's members.
