The Yatanese addressing system is used to identify a specific location in Yata. When written in Yatanese characters, addresses start with the largest geographical entity and proceed to the most specific one.
Starting from September 2025, Yatanese addresses will begin with the largest division of the Empire, the country. These are called kuni (国), followed 'administration' by fu (府), followed by 'city' shi (市).
There are five kuni : 1. Utsunomiya (鵜之宮国), 2. Otsuchi (大土国), 3. Sunaga (須永国), 4. Kozaki (神崎国) and 5. Sakate (坂
手国).
There are six fu : 1. Ustunomiya-fu (鵜之宮府), 2. E (江府); 3. Awamiko (粟巫女府); 4. Sunaga (須永府), 5. Kozaki (神崎府) and 6. Sakate (坂
手府).
There is also one Special Administrative Region (SAR) : Changnor-dzong (ཆང་ནོར་རྫོང་) also called Hokushu (北珠).
