Renew Temple Recommend

With the Temples near us operating normally, Temple Recommends are good for two years, one year for youth.  The church has instituted a reminder system through the Member Tools app (Android   IOS) to by default send a reminder for an expiring recommend one month before it expires.  Ultimately it is each member's responsibility to track and have their recommend renewed every two years.

If your recommend has expired or will be expiring in this same month, you can schedule a Temple Recommend Interview with the Ward Assistant Executive Secretary, Trevor Dunn.

These are typically done starting after the Sunday block at 12:30 with the Bishop's Councilors.  For youth first time recommends start in January of the year they turn 12, these interviews should be held with the Bishop.  For youth interviews, one or both parents are highly encouraged to attend.  New members of the Ward are also encouraged to meet with the Bishop when renewing their recommend for the first time.

Each recommend also requires an interview with a member of the Stake Presidency.  These are typically held every Sunday from 2-3 PM with exception of Fast Sunday.
