Kawartha Kodiak Hockey is an Elite Female Hockey Development Program that is designed to provide unique hockey training and opportunities to female athletes in the Kawartha region.

Our spring tournament teams aim to develop skills and provide opportunities to play in highly competitive tournaments with teams from across the province.

Skill Development
Summer Skills Sessions
Our Summer Skills Sessions are where players receive well-balanced on-ice skills training as well as high performance off-ice training. Players participate in 2.5 hrs of on-ice per day and 1 hour of off-ice training between ice times.
Fundamental Skills
(Recommended for U7 - U13 players)
When: July 8th to 11th

Advanced Skills
(Recommended for U11- U15 *Rep players)

March Break Skills
Two 90-minute sessions that will combine skating and stick skills to enhance overall player development.
For: U11 - U15 Players

Pre-Season Clinics
Our Pre-Season Clinics provide players skills and training to prepare for the upcoming season in two 90-minute sessions. Each session will have a specialized skill focus.
For: U11 (2015 & 2014) & U13 (2013 & 2012)

Pre-Tryout Skate
Our Pre-Tryout Skates aim to prepare players for upcoming tryouts by focusing on high tempo drills and building confidence to head into those first tryouts!
For: U11, U13, U15, U18

Off-Ice (Google) Workouts
Our Off-Ice Workouts are 45 minute sessions that enable players to develop strength and agility from the comfort of their own home!
Players simply need a laptop/tablet, internet connection and space to complete exercises. Programming is designed for players aged 8-12 years old using bodyweight exercises only.

Spring Power Skating
A six-week program designed to focus on balance, agility, speed, and power. This program is recommended for current rep players or players intending to tryout for rep this spring.
For: Open to players born 2015 - 2011
When: Tuesdays March 26th to April 30th

Shooting Clinics
A four week program designed to improve shooting/scoring techniques, including player deception, angles, screens, and deflections.
For: U11 & Up
