MODELLING, AND SIMULATION OF HEAT DISSIPATION FOR AN EV BATTERY AND DESIGNING AN EFFECTIVE COOLING SYSTEM
Fast degradation of EV batteries in tropical countries like Sri Lanka has become a major issue for EV vehicle users. In the present, the world is transforming to consuming renewable energy and to reduce CO2 emission. But this transformation is facing challenges as this problem we address from our project. And researchers studied and proved that uneven distribution of heat in the battery compartment is one of the key reasons for fast degradation of batteries. Modelling, and simulation of an EV system is our main objective in the project and designing an effective cooling system which will be suitable for a vehicle operating in a relatively hot environment.
