Katrin Huber

Welcome to my personal website!

I am postdoctoral fellow at the University of Potsdam, Chair for Empirical Economics. I am a member of the Berlin School of Economics (BSoE), affiliated with the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) and the University of Passau, and coordinator of the Center for Economic Policy Analysis (CEPA) in Potsdam. I attained a Ph.D. at the University of Passau and was a fellow in the Bavarian Graduate Program in Economics (BGPE).

My main research fields are empirical labor economics, family economics, gender economics and policy evaluation. I am also interested in different topics in applied microeconomics in general.

My research mainly consists of the empirical analysis of family policies regarding fertility, parental labor supply, career trajectories and child outcomes. I am also working on topics related to different aspects of the labor market, especially on human capital investments, workers' beliefs & personality traits, household structure and its implications for labor income inequality.
