Magical May ritual

May is known as the month of the Goddess: The advent of spring cries out for the Goddesses of fertility, growth, plants and flowers. Traditionally, planting is also done by the Moon's phases.

Below is a small Magical Goddess Ancient Egypt Healing Ritual from the Goddess ISIS you may want to try this May, as that is when the ritual is most powerful.

You will need:

• X1 white candle
• Incense ( Frankincense or Myrrh)
• A piece of gold or Lapis Lazuli (alternatively a crystal)
• A small amount of fragrant/ essential oil
• Understand what the symbol of an Ankh (Crux ansata) looks like because you will be tracing that symbol with oil, on your skin

OK, now you have what you need let’s begin the ritual:

Light the candle saying: Great goddess of magic and healing. You who wear the Tyet. You who carry the ankh and guide life. Isis of the Nile. I humbly ask you to assist me today.

Burn your incense

Ps the gold through the fragrant smoke saying: I am in need of healing and your life-giving magic would be appreciated (inform ISIS where you need healing) please give me your blessing

Dip your finger into the oil and trace and ankh shape on your other hand or another part of your body (if you are asking for physically healing trace it on the area of your body which needs healing, if you can reach it)

Now pas the gold through the smoke again saying: Great Goddess Isis, I ask that you change this with your healing energy so that I may have this flow through me when I need it. This is now a talisman of healing magic.

The meaning of Ankh: an object or design resembling a cross but having a loop instead of the top arm, used in ancient Egypt as a symbol of life.

The meaning of Tyet: Its meaning is also reminiscent of the ankh, as it is often translated to mean "welfare" or "life".
