Katie McCann

About me:

I am Katie McCann [kej.ti mə .kan], a second year linguistics PhD student in the research program 'cyclic optimization' in the project 'semantic and phonological correlates to affix orders' at the University of Leipzig.

You can find my CV here (last updated August 2023).

My main focus lies within phonology and the phonology-morphology interface.

I focus on the topic of affixal nonuniformity and what this can tell us about morphological and phonological domains as well as phonological representational differences among affixes.

Further interests include but are not limited to: dual-level affixation, non-linear morphology, exceptionality in phonology and discontinuous exponence.
