About Katie

Hello! Music has always been a central part of my life. I've been playing the piano for 30 years with 10 years of Suzuki instruction from a phenomenal teacher, along with Suzuki teacher training. Throughout my school years, I had the joy of playing piano in jazz band and clarinet in various bands. I went on to study music education in college, where my passion for teaching and sharing music truly blossomed. I enjoyed accompanying various instruments, choirs and vocalists throughout the years. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I continue to discover new things through both playing and teaching. Whether it’s helping a student play their first notes or guiding someone through a challenging piece, I find immense joy in sharing the beauty of music and seeing others grow. I live in Riverton, Utah, with my wonderful husband and our four amazing kids, who bring so much love and happiness into my life.
