The goal of our project was to program the RLSK robot provided to follow a black line along a path and launch rubber ducks into the "pond."
My role in this rewarding team project involved researching and editing the Arduino C++ program for the robot to follow the line of the course. I was also involved in practicing CAD software via Onshape to design our launch apparatus.
I worked alongside Giovanna Curry with communicating and adjusting the program to fit the needs of the competition (program execution timing, turn angles, light sensor values). We both coordinated with our team members Annabel Allen and Gwynnyth Williams who constructed the launch attachment to ensure the robot's speed was effective for launching the ducks.
Our results were successful by earning sufficient points from the competition to earn an "A" evaluation.
