Kathy Zhang is a painter curently based in Vancouver BC. She was born in Wuxi China, and raised in Edmonton Alberta. She received her B.A. in Visual Arts was received from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Subsequent to that she attended the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, England

She has exhibited provincially, nationally, and internationally in both solo and independent shows. Recent exhibitions include the BC Lions Charity Auction in Vancouver and the Group show featured by Ian Tan in Hong Kong.

Her work is featured in many private collections, and she has been the recipient of various scholarships including the 2006 Queen’s Golden Jubilee Scholarship for Visual Arts, the Michael Woollett Memorial Art Award, as well as the 2010 Mary Plumb Blade award.
