A Little About Me
Hello,
My name is Katherine Harr and I am currently a Grad Teacher of Record at Clemson University where I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics. Previously, I attended Xavier University where I received a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Applied Chemistry. While at Xavier University, I discovered my love of teaching mathematics. After graduating from Xavier University in 2023, I accepted a Teaching Assistantship at Clemson University.
Research Interests:
Cryptography
Algebra
Scientific Computing
As of Fall 2024, I have been working with Dr. Rafael G. L. D'Oliveira and Dr. Felice Manganiello doing cryptography research.
Duckie
This is my cat Duckie. She likes to steal your food when you aren't looking but is an excellent study partner.
Hobbies
In my free time, I like to express my creativity by painting and I have recently started to crochet. I also enjoy baking and trying new recipes that I can share with others.
Previous Work
Before discovering my love of mathematics, I worked at a veterinary clinic for six years.
