Hot Piston’s Peppermint Power Potion

A cooling drink to lighten hardworking masculine hearts June through September.  May you be exposed, unrestrained and able to enjoy life. Cheers.

Peppermint is known for its cleansing ability, enhancing awareness and financial success, so is an ideal herb for raising the vibrations wherever you earn a living.

Its energy is strong and penetrating, enhancing love, sleep, and psychic vision.

1. Bring 1 liter of purified water to 213’ fahrenheit (a bit of super steam joke) 

2. Add 8 oz. of blossom honey to a pitcher as our base nectar and pour in water from the kettle.

3. Create ribbons of honey while mindfully stirring your intentions to dissolve into a swirl of purpose in this invigorating summer time treat!  (Note: This is how to add that famous “made with love” ingredient, so choose virtues of strength, protection, healing, hospitality and powerfully enhanced communication)

4. Strip 8 stems of fresh mint and put the leaves into a tea ball (keep fresh stems in a damp paper towel in a plastic bag or put the stems in a jar of water in the fridge)

5. Steep for 2 minutes at 214’ and remove the tea ball.

6. Add thickly sliced strawberries, remove heat and allow to cool naturally. (I find this a perfect time for a fantasy meditation since the beloved red strawberry is an aphrodisiac and as a symbol for love the interpretations extend from the representing purity, modesty, sensuality, fertility, eroticism, temptation and infidelity.  These heart-shaped berries are, after all, the symbol of Venus, the Roman Goddess of Love)

7. Ladle 1 oz. of this Power Potion over ice 

8. Add chilled sparkling water to the nectar and top off the glass with a citrus wedge.
