I am a first-year PhD student at Northwestern University working with Dr. Brad Sageman. I seek to improve the chronostratigraphic framework of the Oceanic Anoxic Event (OAE) 1a interval.

I recently completed my master's degree in Geology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln under the supervision of Drs. Chris Fielding and Tracy Frank. Broadly, my project entailed understanding the paleoclimatic and sedimentological changes that occurred roughly 252 million years ago, where 95% of all taxa went extinct at the end-Permian mass extinction.

I received my B.S. in the Geological Sciences and Economics from the University of Miami (Coral Gables) and have previous experience working in a geochemistry lab at Northwestern University.

My career as a sedimentary geologist and geochemist has taken me all across the world from the US, Europe, and most recently Australia - please see field experience for further details and photos.
