I'm a doctoral researcher at the department of Music, Art and Culture studies at the University of Jyväskylä. In my research, I study music and fear – especially from the point of view of children and youth. I'm particularly interested in subjective experiences and expressions of music-evoked or music-induced emotions and affective states. Alongside research, I'm a musician, writer and a children's theatre active. In my leisure time I enjoy outdoors, reading and horror films.
