Client: WMD
Scope of work: illustration to be used on merchandise (2018); illustration to be used as part of the CD packaging (2019)
In the fall of 2018, I was approached by Michael Erickson, an artist behind an electronic music project called WMD, and commissioned to draw an illustration that could be used on merchandise promoting his work. The idea was to create something that would go well with the soft ambient music. While working on the drawings I was mostly listening to the Reminisce album.
About a year later, Michael contacted me again. This time I was tasked with creating an illustration to be used as a part of the design for WMD's new CD packaging. In the end, the drawing was imprinted on CD and vinyl.
