The site is situated in the Dercum peak of Keystone Mountain Colorado. The Advenir resort functions by incorporating skiing, trekking, biking, and ice skating. The site can be reached by Peru Express rope car from the base of the Keystone mountain. The site is also accessible by roadways in summer. The rope cars are received at the gondola placed at the entrance of the resort. The resort gets its electricity and other resources from the nearby station. Functions during the spring season: Cycling, Biking, trekking, conference, swimming. Functions during the winter season: Skiing, Snowboarding, Night skiing, Cat skiing, Ice skating.
The site is situated in between Skiing trails of various users grouped under Begginer, Intermediate, Advanced. The trails crossing the site are obstructed by the building forms.
The site is an existing terrain park placed over the Keystone mountain. The modules are created by deforming their roof to retain their old function. The trails are extended across the building form creating a terrain park. The trails during the summer are used as cycling trails. A user moving with a speed of 15km/hr, when lifted to an angle of 25 degrees would be able to jump across 10m in a horizontal direction.
