Compromise Sink is located in Suwannee County FL and is managed by the Suwannee River Water Management District. The sinkhole was first discovered by Adam Hughes in March 2017 while ridgewalking on the Christian Tract. After acquiring the necessary permits to access the site, KUR divers have since discovered over 3,000 feet of passage.
When compared to the other cave systems in the area, the characteristics of Compromise Sink are quite unique. The cave itself is very shallow, ranging from 15-30 ffw. Also, there are no existing systems in the immediate proximity, meaning compromise is an entirely new cave that no one has known about until recently.
