Welcome to my page! I am Karim Mosani, and I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow in the Mathematics Department at Ruhr University, Bochum.

Prior to my current position, I held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Mathematics Department of Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany, from March 2023 to March 2024. Before that, I worked as a Visiting Scientist at the International Center for Space and Cosmology in Ahmedabad, India, from September 2022 to February 2023.

I was a CSIR Senior Research Fellow (after being a Junior Research Fellow) associated with the Department of Mathematics at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus. I completed my PhD in August 2022 

I work in the field of General Relativity (theory of gravitation). More specifically, my interest lies in gravitational collapse, naked singularities, the strength of singularities, and trapped photon regions in black hole spacetimes.  Some of my work  can be found in the following links:
