I am Assistant Professor of Economics at FLAME University in Pune, India. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in June 2024.

My research is at the intersection of Economic Development, Political Economy, and Public Economics and examines differences in institutions (historical and contemporary), government policies (e.g., decentralization), political accountability, and geography to better understand the regional disparity in economic development and growth within developing countries, with India as a leading example.
