I am Assistant Professor of Economics at FLAME University in Pune, India. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in June 2024.

My research is at the intersection of Economic Development, Political Economy, and Public Economics. I closely examine how institutions (historical and contemporary), decentralization (regional autonomy), political accountability, and geography can reshape development outcomes within developing countries, with India as a leading example.
