Karan Singhal

Welcome!

I am Karan Singhal, Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Luxembourg, working on the WELLMOD project under the supervision of Prof. Conchita D’Ambrosio.

I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Institute of Socioeconomic Research (LISER) in December 2025.

My research interests include development economics, gender and inequality, social protection, labor economics, and education.

Additionally, I am a consultant with the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) in their Gender and Economic Inclusion department (now part of the WBG Gender Department). I am also a board member of WES Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing education to underprivileged children in Dhanpuri, central India.
