Our multidisciplinary team focuses on advancing organic and polymer-based electronic materials to address challenges in energy efficiency, flexible electronics, and neuromorphic computing. We specialize in developing high-performance thermoelectric polymers, scalable fabrication methods for semiconductor nanofilms, and innovative device architectures for AI-driven neuromorphic systems. By integrating expertise in organic transistors, solution printing, and low-temperature spectroscopy, we aim to pioneer next-generation technologies that bridge fundamental science with practical applications.
Design and synthesis of new conjugated polymers and small-molecule organic semiconductors
Studying the relationship between molecular structure, crystallinity, and charge transport
Developing materials optimized for specific applications like organic transistors and thermoelectric devices
Studying and optimizing solution-based processes (e.g., printing, coating) for organic thin film formation
Enhancing device performance through control of film nanostructure, crystallinity, and molecular orientation
Developing fabrication techniques for flexible/stretchable substrates and large-area devices
Study of charge transport mechanisms and operational stability in organic electronic devices, with a focus on improving performance and reliability through interface engineering
Structural characterization of thin films using synchrotron-based techniques such as grazing incidence X-ray scattering (GIXS) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS)
Development of advanced X-ray methods to observe real-time structural changes during device operation
