Kampi ya Lucki

Kampi ya lucki is a concept that unites nature conservation, artistic expression and hospitality. We have set aside areas of our camp for natural forest regeneration to allow peaceful coexistence between nature and our dear guests. This provides a refuge zone, a food basket for our birds and other animals and, for you, a magical observation point. The facility showcases the concept of natural building materials, recycling and the regional craft and architecture. Set upon a granite rock outcrop, this offers a great view of the Kakamega forest canopy and the Nandi Hills escarpment.

We started off with one big grass-thatched hut, now a lovely cottage available for groups or family.

We also have two simple rooms and a forest hut for nature experience.

We have tents and camping facilities and the Three Little Huts Bar is the best place to unwind and enjoy your stay.

We serve traditional foods on order.

Walks and excursions can be organised to the forests (Kakamega, Kisere), hills and Nandi escarpment.
