Hi, I'm Sam!

I’m an recent graduate from the University of West Florida where I got my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Aside from the degree, I was extremely involved in undergraduate research, travelling to the Florida Undergradute Research Leadership Summit, and earning the first ever Distinguished Researcher Award for Mechanical Engineering.

I’m passionate about enabling robots to operate in uncontrolled environments, drawing design inspiration from the natural world. A good example is my Capstone project, where I used the leg configuration of arachnids to develop a robot that can operate after leg loss.
