Kamiya Martin

My name is Kamiya Martin, and I am a 2025 3B/MIF. I currently play for the Lady Dukes 18u - Swope, and attend high school at Bethel Park. I have over 8 years of experience playing softball and this fulfilling game has taught me many skills not only to use in softball but in life as well. Softball has kept me disciplined as it has taught me time management, responsibility, and  persistence. I have learned these skills by balancing games, practices, other extra-curricular activities and honors/AP classes. Combined, these things have driven my competitive spirit and drive for greatness. 

I take my grades very seriously and challenge myself with harder classes every year. I am currently taking two AP classes, AP Biology and AP Psychology, and the rest of the classes are honors.   I am currently in National Honors Society (NHS), French NHS, 2025 Activities Committee, and Yearbook Committee. I am very determined about my future both academically and in softball. I plan to continue playing at the collegiate level and  major in Pre-med or Psychology.
