National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi, India

Hello! Welcome to my website. I am an Economist at National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi, India since 2016.

My primary research interests are Public Finance, Energy, Environment and Gender.

My current research focuses on the intersection of public finance, public policy and environment. I have been working on understanding the linkages between intergovernmental transfers and its impact on environment in an Indian set-up. Also, I have been involved in government led initiatives to calculate the adaptation expenditure of the union government, to climate change. Previously, I have been associated with projects related to energy sectors; examining the impact of UDAY scheme on state-finances and analysing the performance of the Power Distribution Utilities (DISCOMs) of the country. Using Public Financial Management tools, I have also conducted public expenditure reviews for Child Nutrition, Child Budget, and Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Measures.
