KAAS Kentucky Area Meeting 2024
WELCOME
The Kentucky Area Astronomical Society (KAAS) will be hosting the Kentucky Area Astronomical Society Meeting on Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16, 2024 at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. The meeting will have also an online option via Zoom. Every year KAAS invites the astronomical community in Kentucky and the surrounding area to the KAAS Meeting. The conference is a one and a half day science meeting with the purpose of fostering closer ties within the local astronomical community in Kentucky and the adjoining states to support research and teaching endeavors in astronomy.
We solicit 15 minute oral and poster contributions, and we are especially interested in having submissions from students and post-docs. If you would like to contribute a poster or talk, please register at the meeting website. Depending on the number of abstracts, we may invite some posters to be converted to 5 or 10 minute oral presentations, or vice versa. There is no registration fee.
Please REGISTER AND SUBMIT ABSTRACTS HERE by Friday, March 1, 2024. When you register, please make sure to indicate if you are coming in person or if you wish to participate online via Zoom.
