Hindu Cultural Event and competition for children

The story of Kalpavriksha (the gift-giving tree) will be narrated as children decorate the tree with the ornaments representing the bounty that emerged during Amritamanthana (the churning of the ocean of milk during Sri Vishnu’s Kurma avatar).

Participation and Prizes:

a) Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 participants within each grade/category.

b) Participation certificates will be given to all participants. If the student participates in multiple categories 1 participation certificate will be awarded.

Group Performances - Group Performance Registrations

#1 - Performances can be Bhajan/Song, Play skit, Dance, Presentation, Recital related to hindu theme

#2 - Performance should adhere to traditional hindu devotional theme.

#3 - Recommended time limit for each event is 5 minutes

#4 - No Solo performances. Only a group of three or more are allowed

#5 - Performers must report by 12.30 PM on competition day

#6 - Any media or audio files needed for the performance should be handed over to event coordinator

#7 - Anyone/group arriving late will be reassigned to the end of the show.

Please note that the use of electronic media such as using internet search engines are not allowed for Open book quizzes.
