August 15, 2019 Program

Wessex embroidery enjoyed a period of popularity in the 1920’s and 1930’s. It is a counted thread repeating pattern embroidery originally worked on linen.

Three to six skeins of floss can be used for this project. For the best effect, choose colors which complement each other within in each band.

Bring your usual stitching supplies. The kit will provide a piece of 28 count linen. You can bring floss from your stash or select colors from our "floss box".
